They Speak

On DUP there are many strangers …
they speak with stretched tears over a keyboard
and leave messages of pain on my screen.

Of course I reciprocate. Our waters
mix and mingle, carry information
to and fro accumulating until

one day a tidal-wave will burst the web-
site’s limitations, shifting ancient rocks
of displeasure, levelling mountains and

toppling dictators, drowning fake news and
eventually calming down to a slow
swish … swish, swish … swish, an ebb and flow of tides

in tune with a clear moon breaking gently
around the world on all its shores. Won’t this
conversion of tears be a glorious day?

Oh yeah!
